Fontana Auto Accident on 15 Freeway
FONTANA, CA (August 5, 2020) – Late Monday morning, a person was hurt in a two-car crash on 15 Freeway and Duncan Canyon Road.
At around 11:45 a.m., first responders came to the crash scene on southbound 15 Freeway, north of Duncan Canyon Road. Moreover, the California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department also responded in the northwestern part of Fontana.
A CHP officer revealed that a black Chevy Silverado pickup driver traveled south in the No. 3 lane of the freeway. However, the Chevy sideswiped a white Ford F550 dump truck in the No. 4 lane.
Due to the impact, the driver of the Silverado lost control and fell down an embankment. Then, the vehicle landed in the 4800 block of Lytle Creek Road, below15 Freeway.
Furthermore, the Silverado driver complained of pain. However, the driver refused medical attention.
The CHP continues to investigate the crash on 15 Freeway and Duncan Canyon Road.
