1 Injured in Stanwood Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 532
STANWOOD, WA (July 2, 2020) – Last Thursday, a person sustained injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 532 near Stanwood.
The state troopers and medic came to the scene at about 9:00 a.m. The incident occurred on Highway 532 Mary Clark Bridge over the Stillaguamish River.
The authorities responded after receiving reports of a serious crash, Trooper Heather Axtman of the State Patrol revealed. Upon their arrival, they discovered three damaged vehicles.
Meanwhile, responders took a male driver to Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Everett.
The events that have led up to the crash remain under investigation. Axtman revealed that they received 911 calls about a reckless driver before the incident.
Furthermore, the authorities shut down the road while the crews worked at the scene. However, the road has since reopened.
