One Injured in San Luis Obispo Rollover Car Accident on Highway 101
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (June 22, 2019) – A person sustained injuries after a rollover car accident on Highway 101 on June 21.
The rollover car accident on Highway 101 occurred at around 12:20 p.m. between the San Luis Bay Dr. and Higuera St. Exits.
The two-vehicle crash blocked the slow lane. The collision caused one of the cars to roll over.
CAL FIRE initiated an extrication to one female driver from the overturned silver Ford Fiesta. Responders transported her to the hospital.
According to CHP, the slow lane will remain closed for up to 45 minutes while crews worked at the scene.
CAL FIRE extricated the single female driver from the vehicle that rolled over.
Meanwhile, the CHP revealed that the Ford driver attempted to switch lanes but did not notice the SUV in the adjacent lane. The cars collided and ended to the rollover.
The SUV occupants didn’t suffer any injury in the crash.
