1 Injured in Simi Valley Pedestrian Crash on First Street and Agnew Street
SIMI VALLEY, CA (December 15, 2020) – Monday afternoon, a person suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on First Street and Agnew Street.
The incident occurred at 3:44 p.m. on First Street and Agnew Street, south of Cochran Street.
According to Sgt. Chris Johnson of the Simi Valley Police Department, two pedestrians used the crosswalk while crossing First Street,
However, a female driver making a left turn onto southbound First Street from Agnew Street crashed with the pair. Then, the driver remained at the scene and helped with the investigation.
Meanwhile, one of the pedestrians complained of minor pain. On the other hand, responders took the other one through an ambulance. Responders transported the person to Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks.
Furthermore, the authorities shut down First Street at Cochran during the investigation.
Moreover, the authorities advised motorists to use alternate routes.
