1 Injured in Bakersfield Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99
BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 26, 2019) – A person required hospitalization after a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 99 on September 25.
After 2:00 a.m., a semi-truck driver didn’t notice traffic slowing ahead and crashed into a white sedan. The impact sent the sedan to struck three other cars.
According to reports, a baby got stuck into its car seat in the back of one of the vehicles involved. Fortunately, CHP clarified that the baby is fine.
Medical responders transported a person to the hospital with a head laceration.
Meanwhile, CHP added that everyone involved in the crash on Highway 99 wore a seat belt.
Authorities also ruled out alcohol or drugs as a factor in the collision.
