Six Vehicles Involved in Collision near University Parkway

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (September 10, 2018) – One person was hospitalized Monday morning following a multi-vehicle crash on 215 Freeway.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 8:40 AM, just south of University Parkway. At least six vehicles were involved in the incident including a dump truck, a white compact van, a small van, a loaded U-Haul truck, and two other unknown cars. It was not yet clear what caused the pile-up.

Paramedics responded to the scene and rescued one person who sustained major injuries. The victim was then transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, although there is no update on their current medical condition.

The No. 2 and 3 lanes of the highway were closed as crews cleaned up the scene and officials began their investigation. No additional information has been released to the public at this time.
