1 Injured in Los Angeles Multi-Vehicle Accident on 14 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 4, 2019) – A person sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on 14 Freeway on September 2.
Officers received reports of a traffic crash at about 5:20 p.m on the 14 Freeway near Sand Canyon Road. “One person was transported,” Melanie Flores, a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department stated.
Officer Stephan Brandt with the CHP Traffic Management Office said that the crash involved multiple vehicles with one overturned.
It’s still unclear whether the pedestrian is involved in more than one traffic crash that happened in the area.
Authorities issued a SigAlert on the southbound 14 Freeway that shut down all lanes just near Sand Canyon Road.
The lanes will remain closed during the investigation.
By 6:50 p.m., the CHP officials revealed that the lanes will remain unavailable until 7:45 p.m.
