School Bus Involved in Collision near Agajanian Drive
SANTA CLARITA, CA (November 26, 2018) – One person was hospitalized after a multi-car crash on Copper Hill Drive, early Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 7:56 AM, near Agajanian Drive. Preliminary Investigation showed that the incident involved a total of three vehicles, including a school bus with two children on board. The pile-up happened when a Toyota drifted into oncoming traffic, went head-on with a Chevy pickup causing the truck collide with the school bus.
One motorist was taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. Fortunately, the two students on the bus were not injured.
CHP officials shut down all west bound lanes of Copper Hill for about two hours while investigators worked to determine the cause of the incident and other contributing factors. Additional information will be released to the public once it becomes available.
