1 Injured in Apple Valley Scooter Accident on Highway 18
APPLE VALLEY, CA (June 24, 2019) – A man on a motorized scooter suffered injuries after being hit by a car on Highway 18 on June 21.
The incident occurred at around 11:09 p.m. in the 22300 block of Highway 18, east of Central Road.
Firefighters with the Apple Valley Fire Protection District came to the scene and found the rider.
Meanwhile, the vehicle driver stayed at the scene and helped with officers.
Helicopter Reach 43 airlifted the victim from St. Mary’s Hospital to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
The Apple Valley Police Department is currently handling the investigation.
