1 Injured after Car Crashes Into Carl’s Jr Restaurant in South Gate
South Gate, CA (June 29, 2020) – On Friday night, one person was hospitalized when a car crashed into Carl’s Jr Restaurant in South Gate.
The crash happened at around 11:45 p.m. Two drivers were traveling west on Firestone Boulevard when one of the cars collided with the other.
A surveillance video from the restaurant shows a vehicle jumping the curb. It then skidded through the parking lot and collided into the building.
A metal railing stopped the vehicle from crashing inside the restaurant. However, the door sustained heavy damages, while glass debris scattered over the floor inside the building.
Moreover, a video shows the front part of the vehicle completely destroyed.
The medics team attended to a person inside an ambulance and rushed the victim to a hospital.
Meanwhile, investigating officers said there is no sign of racing.
