Two Injured in Big Rig Crash on Minnewawa Avenue in Fresno
Fresno, CA (December 17, 2020) – Thursday evening, a driver was hospitalized after colliding into a big rig at the intersection of Minnewawa and Jensen avenues.
The Fresno crash happened at around 5:40 p.m. on December 17.
Police reports revealed that the big rig driving westbound on Jensen Avenue was making a U-turn at the intersection. At the same time, a 2000 white Ford Ranger approaching the intersection, however, unable to stop in time and collided with the passenger’s side of the big rig.
The impact injures both the Ford Ranger driver and the passenger. The driver was then transported to Community Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries while the passenger was treated at the scene and later released.
Meanwhile, the driver of the big rig is uninjured.
Further investigation to determine the cause of the Minnewawa Avenue crash is on-going.
