1 Injured in Bakersfield Crash on Highway 43
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 25, 2019) – A person sustained injuries following an accident on Highway 43 on October 24 in Bakersfield.
The two separate crashes involved three vehicles. Reports revealed that the incident happed on Highway 43 and Mccombs Avenue near Wasco. According to the CHP, the first collision involved the pickup driver and another vehicle just before 6:00 a.m.
As the two exchanged paperwork outside the vehicles, the Pathfinder collided with the truck, pinning the pickup driver between his door and the truck
Responders transported him to Kern Medical with significant injuries to his lower part of the body.
The incident also led officers to shut down Highway 43 at Highway 46 during the clearing operation.
Meanwhile, the authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
