1 Dead in El Monte Car Crash on Peck Road and Lower Azusa Road
EL MONTE, CA (December 14, 2020) – Sunday morning, a driver died in a two-vehicle accident on Peck Road and Lower Azusa Road.
According to El Monte Police Chief David Reynoso, the incident happened at around 5:30 a.m. It occurred on Peck Road and Lower Azusa Road.
The crash killed one driver and injured the suspected intoxicated truck driver.
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the extent of injuries suffered by the truck driver. Also, they haven’t confirmed whether they arrested the driver.
Meanwhile, the other car’s driver suffered fatal injuries.
Due to the limited information available, the crash remains under active investigation.
Also, the authorities said that both drivers solely occupied their respective vehicles.
