Bakersfield, CA (August 21, 2023) – On August 20, at least a person died following a S Martin Luther King Boulevard collision.

The fatal collision unfolded minutes before 2:30 p.m. north of State Route 58.

The authorities immediately responded to the incident and believed that alcohol and/or drugs were a factor.
