Fiery Vehicle Crash on Highway 79 Kills David Schulberg, Injures 3 Others
Aguanga, CA (August 17, 2020) – On Sunday, David Schulberg died, while three other people were injured in a fiery vehicle crash on Highway 97.
Riverside County Fire Department said the crash happened before 3:30 p.m. west of Dugan Drive.
Fire officials reported that one person died in the incident. Also, one person suffered major injuries, another one suffered moderate injuries, and the last one sustained minor injuries.
Furthermore, witnesses told California Highway Patrol dispatcher that one of the vehicles was fully consumed by fire. People stopped and helped to put out the flames with a fire extinguisher before first responders arrived.
Authorities fully closed Highway 79 as they investigate the crash.
