Passenger Dies in Horrific 2-Vehicle Crash on West Prospect Street [Seattle, WA]

Seattle, WA (August 19, 2024) Early Monday morning, 2 men were killed after a horrific 2-vehicle crash on West Prospect Street.

According to the Seattle Fire Department (SFD), the fatal traffic collision happened at about 3:16 a.m. at the intersection with Queen Anne Avenue North.

Reports say that a Seattle Fire truck was involved in the crash. Officials say that the fire truck was responding to an emergency call at the time of the collision.

Meanwhile, officials say that an eastbound motorcycle, with 2 occupants, was traveling at high rate of speed when it collided with the SFD fire truck.

Officials declared the driver of the motorcycle dead at the scene, while the passenger was rushed to Harborview Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Authorities are investigating the fatal crash and have not released additional information at this time.
