1 Killed and 1 Hurt in Bakersfield Auto Accident on Highway 65 and James Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 14, 2021) – On Saturday, a person died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 65 and James Road.
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on Highway 65 at James Road.
Reports revealed that a southbound 2003 Infiniti entered the opposing lane in an attempt to pass a vehicle. Then, it collided with a northbound 2011 Chevrolet.
Furthermore, responders pronounced the 27-year-old Carson resident driving the Infinity, dead at the scene. Also, paramedics transported the Bakersfield man driving the Chevrolet to Kern Medical with moderate injuries.
Meanwhile, the authorities continue to investigate the events leading to the crash.
