1 Killed and 6 Hurt in Fresno Auto Accident on North Piedra Road near East Weldon Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (November 22, 2021) – Saturday night, a person died in a tractor crash on North Piedra Road near East Weldon Avenue.
 
According to CHP Sgt. Mark Steadmon, the incident happened at around 5:18 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on North Piedra Road near East Weldon Avenue
 
Reports revealed that a van carrying a mother and her five children collided with a tractor. Apparently, the tractor was helping a truck that had run into a ditch.
 
Moreover, officials confirmed that the tractor driver died in the crash. Meanwhile, the six occupants of the van sustained minor injuries in the incident. Also, the pickup truck driver sustained no injuries in the crash.
 
Furthermore, authorities believed that poor lighting in the area may have played a role in the crash.
