1 Killed in Needles Traffic Accident on Interstate 40 near Needles Highway
NEEDLES, CA (October 20, 2021) – Monday night, a person died in a semi crash on Interstate 40 near Needles Highway.
According to authorities, the incident happened at around 11:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Interstate 40 near Needles Highway.
Reports revealed that an eastbound Subaru Forester lost control and veered towards the dirt median. Then, the Subaru continued towards the westbound lanes where. Afterward, it collided head-on with a westbound Freightliner in combination with a semi-trailer.
The Subaru came into rest on the median of Interstate 40. Meanwhile, the Freightliner came into rest on the right shoulder of westbound Interstate 40.
Furthermore, responders pronounced the Subaru driver dead at the scene. The Freightliner driver and a passenger sustained no injuries in the crash.
