NATIONAL CITY, CA (November 18, 2019) – A person died in a pedestrian accident on 805 Freeway on November 17.
 
The incident happened just after 6:00 p.m. on the transition road between 805 Freeway and Highway 54. The driver reportedly stopped and authorities didn’t make any arrests yet.
 
The collision killed the pedestrian and CHP closed the transition road between the two freeways. By 8:45 a.m., the lanes are still closed.
 
The identity of the victim remains unreleased due to pending family notification. In addition, police did not release any additional information at this time. However, an investigation is ongoing.
