1 Person Dead in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 138 [Phelan, CA]

PHELAN, CA (January 20, 2022) – Wednesday morning, a person died in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 138.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 6:42 a.m. on Highway 138.
 
Reports revealed that the incident involved a Mercedes sedan, a pickup truck, and a tractor-trailer.
 
Moreover, responders rushed to the scene and extricated one person trapped inside the pickup. Then, paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene moments later.
 
Furthermore, after the initial crash, a second collision was reported about 10 minutes later. No major injuries were sustained in the second incident.
