CHP Investigates Fatal 6-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 880 in Hayward

Hayward, CA (October 12, 2023) – Early Thursday morning, one person died in a 6-vehicle crash on Interstate 880.

The crash was reported at 1 a.m. just north of West A Street, near the San Lorenzo border.

CHP said at least one person was killed in the collision. There were no reports of other injuries as of 6:30 a.m.

No additional information is immediately released.
