MARIN COUNTY, CA (April 3, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, a person died in a horrific traffic crash on Highway 1 near Fairfax Bolinas Road.

The incident happened at around 1:15 p.m. on Highway 1 near Fairfax Bolinas Road.

According to CHP Officer Darrell Horner, two motorcycles collided with a Subaru Crosstrek for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders pronounced one of the motorcyclists dead at the scene. Then, paramedics air-lifted the second motorcyclist to John Muir Hospital. Also, the Subaru driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Furthermore, the incident closed Highway 1 for several hours but has long since reopened.
