Woman Dead after Hit-And-Run Crash on North Sam Houston Parkway in Harris County
Harris County, TX (March 31, 2023) – Thursday night, a woman died in a hit-and-run crash on North Sam Houston Parkway.
The fatal crash on North Sam Houston Parkway in Harris County happened just before 10:30 p.m. on March 30.
Deputies responded to the crash on North Sam Houston Parkway and Veterans Memorial Drive.
Reportedly, the woman was walking in one of the lanes of the feeder road when she was hit by an unknown vehicle that did not stop.
EMS rushed the victim to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest where she later died.
Investigators continue to search for evidence to figure out who hit the woman.
Deputies did find some minor car parts and will try to determine the type of vehicle involved in the hit-and-run.
Further investigation is ongoing.
