PHOENIX, AZ (November 3, 2021) – Tuesday night, a person died in a fiery crash on 52nd Street near McDowell Road.
 
According to Phoenix Fire Capt. Todd Keller, the incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. Moreover, the incident occurred on 52nd Street, just north of McDowell Road.
 
Reports revealed that two vehicles collided for still unknown reasons. Moreover, one of the vehicles caught fire after the crash.
 
Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated one person trapped inside a vehicle.
 
Furthermore, paramedics pronounced one person dead at the scene. Responders transported a man in his 30s to a hospital with critical injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the crash closed the intersection for an unknown amount of time.
 
The incident remains under investigation.
