1 Killed in Redding Pedestrian Accident on State Street near Favretto Avenue
REDDING, CA (November 21, 2022) – Saturday night, a person died in a pedestrian crash on State Street near Favretto Avenue.
The incident happened at around 8:19 p.m. on State Street, west of Favretto Avenue.
According to the Redding Police Department Traffic Unit, a westbound vehicle struck a female victim who was inside a tent while backing up.
Moreover, officers confirmed that the victim succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Furthermore, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
