SAN DIEGO, CA (May 31, 2022) – Monday morning, a person died in a pedestrian crash on State Route 94 near Interstate 805.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 3:30 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on State Route 94 just west of Interstate 805.
 
Reports revealed that a gray Volkswagen sedan struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons. Then, the Volkswagen driver remained at the scene and called CHP.
 
Moreover, responders confirmed that the pedestrian died at the scene.
 
Furthermore, the CHP issued a SigAlert that blocked all eastbound lanes of the freeway.
