MONTEREY COUNTY, CA (July 5, 2022) – Friday, a person died and another sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 183 near San Jon Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 4:30 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on State Route 183 near San Jon Road.
 
Reports revealed that a northbound 2013 Ford Edge veered across the broken yellow line. Then, it collided with a 2021 Lincoln Continental. Moreover, the force of the crash pushed the Ford towards the northbound lanes. Then, it collided with a Farm Labor Bus.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the Lincoln, a 74-year-old from Castroville, dead at the scene.
