1 Killed in Mission Valley Auto Accident on State Route 163 near Friars Road
MISSION VALLEY, CA (June 14, 2022) – Sunday night, a person died in a fiery crash on State Route 163 near Friars Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 10:17 p.m. Moreover, it happened on northbound Route 163 north of Friars Road.
Reports revealed that a vehicle struck another vehicle for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the second vehicle down an embankment. Eventually, it crashed into a storage unit at Extra Space Storage at 1560 Frazee Road where it erupted into flames.
Moreover, responders confirmed that at least one person died in the incident.
