1 Killed and 3 Hurt in Martinez Accident on San Pablo Dam Road near Bear Creek Road
MARTINEZ, CA (October 3, 2021) – Saturday morning, a person died in a two-vehicle crash on San Pablo Dam Road near Bear Creek Road.
The crash occurred at around 11:15 a.m. According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on San Pablo Dam Road north of Bear Creek Road near El Sobrante.
Reports revealed that a red Toyota Tacoma traveled on the shoulder lane and lost control. Then, it veered towards the northbound lane and collided with a northbound white Honda Civic.
Furthermore, responders pronounced the rear passenger of the Honda dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics confirmed that the Honda driver sustained major injuries. Then, its front-end passenger sustained minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the Toyota driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
