1 Killed in Richmond Big Rig Accident on Richmond-San Rafael Bridge
RICHMOND, CA (January 27, 2022) – Wednesday night, a person died in a fiery crash on Richmond-San Rafael Bridge.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly accident happened at around 7:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Richmond-San Rafael Bridge.
Reports revealed that a big rig rear-ended a sedan midspan on the bridge. Then, the big rig erupted into flames after the collision.
Moreover, officials confirmed that the sedan driver died after being trapped inside the vehicle. Meanwhile, the big rig driver managed to extricate himself from the truck.
