SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 18, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, a person died in an 18-wheeler crash on N Loop 1604 near Interstate 10.
 
The incident happened at around 3:22 p.m. on N Loop 1604 near Interstate 10.
 
According to the San Antonio Police Department, an eastbound 18-wheeler ignored a red light and struck a southbound BMW SUV.
 
Moreover, paramedics pronounced the BMW driver, a man in his 60s, dead at the scene. Then, responders transported the dump truck driver to a hospital with critical injuries.
 
Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
