1 Dead in Crash on Herring Road and Old River Road [Bakersfield, CA]

1 Killed in Bakersfield Auto Accident on Herring Road

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 30, 2020) – Saturday morning, a person died in a pickup truck and semi crash on Herring Road.
 
At about 6:11 a.m., the officers responded to Herring Road and Old River Road after receiving reports of a crash. Upon their arrival, they located the pickup that had caught fire. Moreover, the driver was stuck inside the wreckage.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t clarified if there are other fatalities or injuries.
 
The surrounding area on Herring Road was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary investigation/duties. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
