SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (October 28, 2021) – Wednesday morning, a person died in a pickup truck crash on Elverta Road near Dominion Way.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Elverta Road, near Dominion Way.
 
Reports revealed that a northbound white pickup truck drifted onto the right shoulder and lose control. The vehicle managed to get back onto the roadway but skidded out of control and collided head-on with a power pole.
 
Furthermore, responders pronounced one person dead at the scene. Paramedics transported a patient to a hospital with unknown injuries.
 
Meanwhile, officials do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash but speed may have been a factor in the incident.
 
The crash remains under investigation.
