1 Killed and 1 Hospitalized in Santa Ana Pedestrian Accident on 4700 First Street
SANTA ANA, CA (June 6, 2022) – Sunday night, a person died and another sustained injuries after a pedestrian crash on 4700 First Street.
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the incident happened at around 8:30 p.m. at the 4700 block of First Street.
Reports revealed that a westbound vehicle struck two pedestrians for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle driver remained at the scene after the collision.
Moreover, responders pronounced one of the pedestrians, dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the second pedestrian to a hospital with critical injuries.
Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
Meanwhile, authorities asked anyone with information about the incident to call the department’s Collision Investigations Unit at 714-245-8215.
