JURUPA VALLEY, CA (July 22, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, a person died in a big rig crash near Castellano Road and Rubidoux Boulevard.
 
According to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened at around 5:10 p.m. Moreover, it occurred near the intersection of Castellano Road and Rubidoux Boulevard.
 
Reports revealed that a northbound Ford Ranger traveled at a high rate of speed. Then, it lost control. The Ford crashed into a fence and veered towards the southbound lanes. Afterward, it crashed head-on with a big rig.
 
Furthermore, responders pronounced the Ford driver dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the big rig driver to Riverside Community Hospital with moderate injuries.
 
The events leading to the crash remain under investigation.
