One Killed, Six Hurt after Gilroy Multi-Car Crash on Highway 152
GILROY, CA (September 25, 2019) – One person died and six others were injured in a multi-car crash on Highway 152 on Sunday, September 22.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened at around 8:30 p.m. southeast of Gilroy near Bloomfield Avenue. Reports said that a big rig and two other vehicles crashed in the area.
As of 10 p.m., officials shut down the eastbound lane of Highway 152 near the crash site at Bloomfield Avenue.
The identity of the people involved was not yet released.
Officials are still investigating the cause and circumstances that lead to the crash.
