1 Killed, 3 Hurt in Los Angeles Crash on Highway 14
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 19, 2020) – Sunday evening, a person died while three others sustained injuries in an accident on Highway 14, in Los Angeles, California.
According to Martin Rangel, supervising dispatcher with the L.A. County Fire Department, authorities received the report at around 6:30 p.m. Meanwhile, the units arrived at the scene by 6:44 p.m.
Also, the Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel transported an injured victim to a hospital.
Furthermore, authorities dispatched an air squad. However, the responders transported the injured passenger in an ambulance.
Moreover, responders confirmed that one person died following the crash.
According to Officer Elizabeth Kravig with CHP, they issued a two-hour SigAlert for both sides of Highway 14 at Newhall Avenue. Also, the authorities left the HOV and lane 1 open for Sunday traffic.
The incident is under active investigation.
