HILMAR, CA (March 06, 2019) – A person was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Merced County Saturday night.
 
On Friday, another person died at the scene of a big rig collision near Kingsburg in Fresno County. Their passenger was taken to a local hospital.
 
The crash involved a big rig and a sedan around 6:40 p.m. near Lander Avenue and Crane Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. The Merced County coroner was called out to the scene at 7:02 p.m.
