1 Dead, 2 Injured in Highway 299 Crash near Highway 3 [Douglas City, CA]

Highway 299 Crash in Douglas City Kills 1, Sends 2 to Hospital

 
DOUGLAS CITY, CA (October 31, 2019) — One person died and two others suffered injuries in a Highway 299 crash Tuesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at about 9:00 p.m. A driver was eastbound on the highway when the driver had a seizure. The victim subsequently crashed into another car on the bridge near Highway 3.
 
One person died as a result of the crash. The authorities also had two drivers airlifted to Mercy Medical Center in Redding. One had major injuries while the other sustained minor injuries.
