1 Killed in Fatal Single Car Crash on Highway 380 Off-Ramp to El Camino Real
SAN BRUNO, CA (June 23, 2018) – At least one person died and one injured in a solo car crash on a westbound Highway 380 off-ramp Saturday night.
According to California Highway Patrol, the four-door BMW rolled over and crashed at around 8:50 PM. A witness described the two people inside the vehicle as a man and a woman in their 20’s. The driver lost control of the speeding car after he clipped another one. The car went up in the air about 15 to 20 feet high before spinning around twice.]
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person sustained serious injuries and was transported to San Francisco General Hospital.
The westbound lanes of the freeway had to be closed for around four hours into early Sunday morning but all lanes were cleared by 1:11 AM. No other information about the incident including the identities of the involved parties was immediately available.
