1 Hospitalized in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident on Pacheco Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 25, 2019) – A person suffered critical injuries after a pedestrian accident on Pacheco Road on June 23.
At 12:00 m.n., Bakersfield Police responded to the 1400 block of East Pacheco near Greenfield Middle School. Upon their arrival, they located a man with major injuries.
According to authorities, the man walked across the street outside of a crosswalk when a car hit him.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with state officials. The police also determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time. However, a female passenger remained uninjured.
Furthermore, the driver will face charges due to driving under the influence.
