1 Hurt in Hesperia Car Accident on Live Oak Street
HESPERIA, CA (February 3, 2020) – A person sustained critical injuries in a car accident on Live Oak Street on January 30.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Hesperia Station and San Bernardino County Firefighters responded to the scene on Live Oak Street and Mariposa Road at around 5:45 p.m.
They found a Prius with significant front end damage and a pickup truck that had an attached trailer hauling a vehicle with minor damage. Meanwhile, a ground ambulance transported the Prius driver to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with critical injuries. The pickup truck driver didn’t sustain any serious injuries, Deputy R. Ballantyne revealed.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the pickup truck traveled north on Mariposa Road and the Prius headed on west on Live Oak Street when the collision happened.
Authorities also temporarily shut down Mariposa Road during investigation and debris cleanup.
