FRESNO COUNTY, CA (February 16, 2023) – Wednesday morning, authorities arrested a person after a school bus crash on Belmont Avenue and Grantland Avenue.
 
The incident occurred at about 8:00 a.m. on Belmont Avenue and Grantland Avenue.
 
According to reports, a school bus carrying two kids less than five years old drove to school east on Belmont Avenue.
 
Meanwhile, a southbound vehicle on Grantland Avenue didn’t stop at a stop sign and t-boned the bus.
 
Then, the impact pushed the bus on its side for around forty feet and landed back on its wheels.
 
Officers confirmed that the children inside suffered no injuries in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the bus driver sustained a laceration to her hand and complaint of pain.
