Multiple Injuries Reported in El Paso Auto Accident on Doniphan Drive and Sunset Road

EL PASO, TX (June 13, 2024) – On Wednesday, an alarming two-vehicle crash on Doniphan Drive and Sunset Road led to the arrest of one person.

The incident happened on Doniphan Drive and Sunset Road.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, an SUV with migrants drove the wrong way, fled from troopers, and collided with a truck.

Paramedics transported a total of eight people, including migrants, to a hospital with minor to serious injuries.

As a result of the crash, officers arrested the male driver of the SUV for human smuggling and evading.
