1 Injured in Victorville Motorcycle Collision on Sixth Street
VICTORVILLE, CA (January 17, 2020) – A person got airlifted after a pickup truck and motorcycle collision on Sixth Street on January 16.
A CHP helicopter landed near the crash scene to transported the unconscious motorcyclist.
The incident occurred at around 12:40 pm on D Street near the entrance/exit to the AMPM between Sixth Street and Seventh Street. The incident involved a white Chevy Silverado and a white Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Victorville City Fire responded to the scene and called for a helicopter to airlift the rider. CHP helicopter H80 then responded to the scene. Meanwhile, the truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The incident caused the shut down of D Street in both directions as of 1:20 pm.
The Victorville Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
