Patient Airlifted in HWY 1 6-Vehicle Crash
Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA (April 17, 2024) – A person was injured following a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 1 Tuesday night.
Six vehicles were involved in the collision near the Vandenberg Space Force Base.
The rescuers said four people were injured in the accident. One of them was ejected from a vehicle and incurred critical condition. The patient was airlifted to Marion Regional Medical Center.
Three other patients were transported to Marion Regional Medical Center. Two of them suffered moderate injuries and one incurred minor injuries.
CHP officers closed Highway 1 as they investigated the traffic collision.
