1 Injured in Angels Camp Car Crash on Highway 4
ANGELS CAMP, CA (December 12, 2019) – A person sustained major injuries in a head-on crash on Highway 4 on December 6.
Authorities received reports of the crash around 1:20 p.m. on Highway 4 east of Stallion Way between Angels Camp and Copperopolis. A helicopter transported one person with major injuries to an out-of-the-area hospital.
The crash also closed Highway 4 at Stallion Way and one lane reopened at around 2:35 p.m.
CHP Officer Tobias Butzler revealed that the information as of 2:45 p.m. is limited. However, he added that one of the involved vehicles is a Dodge pickup.
Authorities advised motorists to expect delays in the area.
