Zachary Knowshisgun Arrested after Car Ramming Incident

SPOKANE, WA (June 21, 2019) – A 27-year-old man identified as Zachary Knowshisgun was arrested Wednesday afternoon following a car ramming accident on Division Street.

Authorities responded to the collision around 4:00 p.m.

Knowshisgun reportedly rammed his white car into a FedEx delivery truck at the corner of Division Street and Lewis Avenue. As a result, he totaled his own vehicle.

The driver of the FedEx truck told police that she was waiting for traffic to clear on Division Street at the time. There, Knowshisgun slammed into the front of her truck.

The FedEx driver says she initially thought the driver had crashed into her accidentally. However, Knowshisgun then backed up and ran into her a second and third time.

The suspect tried to flee the scene on foot before police eventually caught him. Reports indicate that he also resisted his arrest.

The FedEx driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries due to the impact. As a result, paramedics transported her to a local hospital for further treatment.

Police believe that Knowshisgun deliberately rammed his vehicle into the delivery truck. However, authorities do not know what his motive was.

Driving can be very dangerous and almost anything can happen if you are not prepared. As a result, it is important to always drive within the posted speed limit.
