Mya Victor Arrested in Sonora Single-Vehicle Accident on Jamestown Road
SONORA, CA (May 23, 2024) – Wednesday, Zachary Bisset suffered injuries in a crippling DUI crash on Jamestown Road.
The incident happened on Jamestown Road near Ratto Road.
According to reports, 21-year-old Mya Victor and her passenger, Bisset, rode a 2024 Kia Forte south on Jamestown Road. Then, they crashed with a pole.
CHP spokesperson Officer Steve Machado reported that “Due to Victor’s intoxication and unsafe turn, she allowed the Kia to leave the roadway and crash into a power pole on the right shoulder.” At the crash site, officers observed signs of intoxication in Victor. Subsequent investigations confirmed she was driving under the influence of alcohol, leading to her arrest.
Bisset sustained serious injuries and was transported by ground ambulance to Adventist Health Sonora Hospital. Victor is now facing felony DUI charges, including the potential charge of causing great bodily injury.
